Everyday OrderingPro

Supplier ordering, minus the hassle

Ordering is the same list every week with different numbers on it. So you write the list once, walk the room marking what is low, and send it — instead of rebuilding the order from memory in the ten minutes before the cut-off.

Included with Pro — A$29.99/month, or a A$5 Day Pass for 24 hours. Prices in AUD.

How it works

  1. 1

    Build the list once

The things you order, grouped by the supplier who brings them. You are writing this list for the last time.

  2. 2

    Walk and mark

Go through the room and put a number against what is low. The list moves with you rather than sitting on a bench.

  3. 3

    Pick where it goes

Choose the supplier and the email address it should go to. Nothing sends until you look at it and confirm — an order that goes out by accident is a delivery you did not want and have to pay for.

  4. 4

    Or take it yourself

Print it or download it instead. Plenty of suppliers take an order by phone or in person, and the list works the same for that.

What you get

  • Reusable lists, grouped by supplier
  • Walk-and-order: mark what's low as you move
  • Supplier and email picked from a list, not retyped
  • A confirm step before anything is emailed
  • Print or download instead of sending, whenever you'd rather
  • Past orders kept, so you can see what you ordered last time

Who it’s for

  • Kitchens and bars ordering from several suppliers a week
  • Shops and cafés with a standing order that changes slightly
  • Anyone whose ordering currently lives on a notepad by the fridge

Questions

Will it email a supplier without me?
No. You see the order and confirm it before it goes. Sending is never automatic and never scheduled behind your back.
What if my supplier doesn't take email orders?
Print the list or download it and order however you already do. The list is the useful part.
Can I keep separate lists for different suppliers?
Yes — that is how they are built. Each list belongs to a supplier, so walking the room once produces the right order for each of them instead of one long list you then have to split up by hand.
What does it cost?
It is part of Pro — A$29.99/month, or A$299.90/year. There is also a A$5 Day Pass that opens every Pro tool for 24 hours, if you only need it for one shift. All prices are in Australian dollars.
