Put two stocktakes side by side and see what moved

Two counts a month apart hold the answer to where the money went, and finding it by scrolling two spreadsheets is how it stays hidden. This lines the counts up and shows only what is different: what appeared, what disappeared, and what changed by how much.

Included with Pro — A$29.99/month, or a A$5 Day Pass for 24 hours. Prices in AUD.

How it works

  1. 1

    Pick two counts

Choose any two finished stocktakes — last month against this one, or the count before a delivery against the one after it.

  2. 2

    Read the differences

Items are grouped by what happened to them: added, missing, or changed in quantity. Everything that stayed the same stays out of your way.

  3. 3

    Take it away

Export the comparison so you can act on it — an ordering list, a conversation about a line that keeps shrinking, or a note for the next count.

What you get

  • Two counts lined up, showing only what differs
  • Items that appeared and items that vanished, separated
  • Quantity changes, with the size of the change
  • Works on any two finished counts, not just consecutive ones
  • Export the result rather than re-reading it each time

Who it’s for

  • Anyone whose stock figures do not match what the shelves say
  • Businesses checking a delivery actually arrived in full
  • Owners looking for the line item that quietly keeps going missing

Questions

What does it cost?
It is part of Pro — A$29.99/month, or A$299.90/year. There is also a A$5 Day Pass that opens every Pro tool for 24 hours, if you only need it for one shift. All prices are in Australian dollars.
Do I need two counts before it is useful?
Yes — it compares two finished stocktakes, so the first count is the baseline and the second is when it starts telling you things. Stocktake itself is where the counts are made.
Does it tell me why something is missing?
No, and nothing honestly could — it tells you WHAT changed and by how much. Waste, theft, a miscount and an unrecorded delivery all look the same in the numbers, which is exactly why seeing the line at all is the useful part.
